Calculation methodology
C (€) = E (kWh) × Pr (€/kWh)
The period is used to extrapolate daily, monthly and annual cost.
Worked example
250 kWh in 30 days at €0.15/kWh = €37.50. Ratio: €1.25/day → €456/year.

Does it include taxes?
It is a base calculation. VAT, electricity tax and tolls are not applied; use the final price from your bill to include them.
What if I have time-of-use pricing?
You can calculate each time band separately and add the results.
Where do I find the kWh consumed?
On your bill in the energy breakdown, or directly on your electricity meter at home.
Are kWh and kW the same?
No. kW is power (instantaneous capacity); kWh is energy (power × time).
